My steamer turns off after just a few minutes and there is no steam generated.

If your steam generator turns off briefly after turning on and makes no steam: 

1. Turn off power, check all wiring for loose connections or damage, communication cable and 13 pin connector.
   
   
2. Ensure the water supply plumbing is open, listen for steamer solenoid opening and tank filling.
   
   
3. Reset the hi-limit switches on the rear of the unit, use a pen or screwdriver to help reach.
