How do I clean my water level sensor?

Modified on Tue, May 16, 2023 at 11:13 AM

Depending on your water supply the steamer's water level sensor may accumulate calcium or lime buildup over time:

  1. Use a marker to indicate the original location of each individual metal rod (Long, medium, short). These must be reinstalled to their original correct slot for the sensor to function correctly.

  2. Depending on your model and age of the unit there may be silicone - if no silicone disregard this step. Please wait at least 24 hours after reinstalling new silicone before using the steamer.

  3. Soak rods in a mild solution of either vinegar, citric acid, or CLR to dissolve buildup. Rinse clean and reinstall rods to their original correct marked slots.

  4. If your problem persists please contact support with model info and pictures for more help.
