Depending on your water supply the steamer's water level sensor may accumulate calcium or lime buildup over time:
- Use a marker to indicate the original location of each individual metal rod (Long, medium, short). These must be reinstalled to their original correct slot for the sensor to function correctly.
- Depending on your model and age of the unit there may be silicone - if no silicone disregard this step. Please wait at least 24 hours after reinstalling new silicone before using the steamer.
- Soak rods in a mild solution of either vinegar, citric acid, or CLR to dissolve buildup. Rinse clean and reinstall rods to their original correct marked slots.
